PB Banana Cloud Smoothie

Return of the Peanut Butter/Banana Cloud smoothie!  Like I have said before, frozen bananas are the secret ingredient to making any smoothie super creamy.  I loved sipping this on the way to work–and it snowed today!  I can drink these all year around no problem.  I had a piece of raisin toast with my [homemade] tea latte once I got to my desk as well.

I was lured in by free break room candy! Although I must say I was disappointed that the red one wasn’t a PB cup, but a caramel-filled chocolate of sorts.  Still gave me a little boost before lunch.

I love using the greens container for my salad holder.  Nice and big so you can fit a whole bunch of toppings!  I see carrots, pummelo chunks, hummus and almonds.

Dinner

I was ravenous when I got home so I threw this pasta dish together in a hurry–and it was quite good!  Just plain old whole wheat tubes (rigatoni?), jarred pesto, sauteed spinach and mushrooms, and shredded parm cheese. This hit the spot!

Dark chocolate for dessert while I watched the newest episode of The Bachelor on DVR.  I don’t know what it is, but I get so hooked on this show every. single. season.  Even so, I always seem shocked when he falls for the mean hot girl. Maybe I’m just naive.

Anyway, here is what’s tentatively planned for the kitchen tomorrow:

I have the itch to cook so an early-morning grocery run is in my future.  Training schedule says 7 miles so I better figure out my route!

Good night :-)

    Hey Leanne!

I just found your blog and I love it! I have really enjoyed reading about your training and the food you eat :-)

I hope your internship is going well and I can’t wait to come back and read more!

P.S. This is Meghan Smith from UNC, just so you know!

Hey Meghan! So glad to hear from you and so glad that you stumbled on my blog. How are things going up in Greeley? I can’t remember, are you applying for internships this year or do you have another year of classes?
