So I’m sure you are aware that exercise is one of my favorite hobbies.  Here are some of my favorite types:

  • Group Exercise classes. I LOVE Les Mills classes–specifically Body Pump, Body Step and RPM (I’m certified in this one!). I also love Core Power Yoga.
  • Running.  I love to run outside when the weather is nice!  No better way to start the day. Treadmill runs are okay once in awhile too.
  • Lifting weights. Ever since I’ve started personal training, I have a new-found love for resistance training.  Having a workout buddy makes all the difference in the world.
  • Circuit training. When short on time, circuits are where it’s at.  A warm-up, back-to-back circuits of strength exercises, plyometrics, and cardio bouts–this is a highly effective way to workout.
  • Yoga.  I love the way it makes me feel.  Bikram=total rejuvenation.
  • Snowshoeing, skiing, sledding. I grew up in Michigan with long, cold winters, so outdoor activities like these are a must!
  • Walking. especially with Mom.
